In an update spotted by 9to5Google, Samsung Health now lets users view their medical records. To make these changes possible, Samsung is working with b.well Connected Health, a platform designed to give people access to their health data. They can access past medical records, including vaccinations, prescriptions, and specific medical tests.

Not only does Samsung Health provide past information. It can also offer recommendations for next steps and actions, as well as prompt users to seek medical help.

Since late last year, Samsung Health has had a medication tracking feature. Now, Samsung says the feature is coming to South Korea and India, and it’s collaborating with healthcare providers in those countries as needed.

One last notable update involves food intake monitoring. Samsung Health now has a barcode scanner to record food products more easily. The company is partnering with fatsecret, a provider of verified food and nutrition data. As a result, you can scan barcodes to get nutritional information instantly. The feature is coming first to the US and some EU countries including France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Poland. There are plans to expand it to other regions in the future.

Samsung isn’t just working to improve people’s health with the Samsung Health app. The FDA gave the green light to a sleep detection feature for the Galaxy Watch this year.

It gives you some of the key features of the $180 Xbox Elite Series 2 controller at a more affordable price. The Core has rubberized grips and stronger triggers, joysticks, and directional pads. It also has up to 40 hours of battery life on a single charge. It doesn’t come with the separate joysticks, directional pad, and back paddles that the full-priced Elite controller has, but you can buy those separately later.
